Media attention surrounding the environment is often bleak.  When reading about environmental issues in the news, I try to remember not to let it get me down.  I think of all the ways I can help ease the pressure of my presence on our planet.  Each of us has a responsibility to be environmentally-friendly, and sometimes reading about current global issues is a good reminder of that.
